Relationships between Sagittarius and Pisces
This is one of those "challenging" (is that word clear enough?) combinations of Sun signs.Let's say: tense.
Tension creates energy, and not only in a physics lab, but also between two people.
A touch can give you energy equal to happiness.
But obviously, too much of it leads to a different result.
Nobody knows what an overload can do: blow up test equipment, or - God forbid! - the Earth...
It can blow up friendships too.
So if Sagittarius and Pisces are going to achieve anything together, they must release the tension in time when it begins to build up.
And then both will be rewarded by Fate with gold medals, like those that they get in Saturday school (when they behave especially well!).
Only the gold medals of Karma are even more precious...
Neptune rules Pisces, and Jupiter rules Sagittarius, and these planets themselves have a lot in common.
For some time, until Neptune was discovered, Jupiter was considered to be the ruler of Pisces.
With such an initial "kinship", the Sagittarius-Pisces couple will be able to avoid major disappointments and troubles if each of them decides to focus on those qualities of the other that inspire respect, and will pay less attention to the differences.
They are also united by a common admiration for what cannot be quite accurately defined as religion.
Among monks and priests, there are often Sagittarius or Pisces.
While Pisces is drawn into mystical waters by the humility and sacrifice of Neptune, Sagittarius is consumed by a thirst for spiritual truth, which sometimes leads to extremes - from absolute atheism to contemplative solitude in a monastery.
But, it must be said, neither Pisces nor Sagittarius, who have joined the religious way of life, ever lose their sense of humor.
Perhaps an example is needed, so I will tell you the story of one Sagittarius - a witty solution to religious-moral contradictions.
This is the best illustration of the humor, honesty, and idealism of Sagittarius - and one hundred percent true.
I would not dare to tell anything but the truth in a chapter devoted to the straightforward Sagittarius.
Pisces also have nothing against the truth, but they like to change it a little or embellish it a little - after all, the naked truth is so boring...
So, Mary Ann Henson told me one day about her father.
He died more than twelve years ago in North Carolina (interestingly, North Carolina is the state ruled by Sagittarius).
Mary still remembers her father's cheerful nature, his idealism, and his sense of self-worth.
Dan Williams Henson was a Sagittarius and always fought for the truth as best he could, and therefore his image should be immortalized, if not in marble, then at least in morse on these pages.
His last arrow of truth hit the mark... after his death, for Dan's will was quite unusual.
At that time there was a custom, not honoring the church, of placing whites and people of prominence in the city in front of the altar, and black parishioners in the balcony, away from everyone.
However, Dan (he was white) left in his will that everyone who wanted to pay him their last respects at the memorial service should take a place in the church in accordance with a special plan: his black friends (almost the entire black community of the town) - in the prestigious pews in front of the altar, and the white participants in the funeral ceremony - in the balcony.
You should have seen the faces of those who were resolutely sent there!
They sat there the whole service, straight, as if they had swallowed a yardstick, with red faces, with difficulty hiding their offense.
I am sure that during this service, perhaps somewhere near the stained-glass window through which the bright sunlight poured, the astral figure of Day himself stood, fully understanding the meaning of what was happening (as is the case with all souls who have just made the transition from this to the next dimension), with a wide grin of a mischievous boy on his face.
“But how was your father so sure that everything would be as he had planned?” I asked Mary Ann. “The offended whites might turn and walk away, the clergy might refuse.
Your father must have been some important person?”
Her answer is the most charming part of the whole story.
“He was,” Mary Ann said, a hint of her father’s mischievous smile flashing across her face, “the leader of the local Democrats.
And the chief of police.
Pisces may be irritated by Sagittarius's habit of blurting out the truth in their face, but Pisces's special ability to play a subtle game or to hold back infuriates Archers, and they often accuse Pisces of being arrant liars.
Is this fair?
Sagittarius must understand that Pisces do not lie, they simply sometimes avoid the truth.
Upon reflection, you will see that these are not the same thing.
They have only two reasons for doing so.
They avoid giving a direct answer either when it concerns something deeply personal (in which case it is simply none of your business), or when it might hurt someone and, from the sympathetic point of view of Pisces, does not serve a worthy purpose.
In this case, you must recognize them as more ethical than you are.
The basis of your Jupiterian ethics is honesty at all costs.
Their Neptunian ethics is based on avoiding emotional losses for themselves and others.
But ethics is ethics, no matter what form it takes, isn't it?
As for you, Pisces, try to be more lenient with the Archer's attacks, if you do not want to become a target for his arrows.
Now do you understand that Sagittarius's intentions are at least honest?
True, the road to hell is sometimes paved with good intentions, but it seems to me that it is also paved with heaven.
Archers take life lightly, are absolutely independent and do not accept self-pity.
It happens that they forget about duties and responsibilities if this interferes with their search or freedom.
This is difficult for Pisces to understand, who sometimes think more about those who need them than about their own desires.
They rarely go straight ahead, preferring to calmly go around obstacles and patiently make their way upstream, sometimes lingering in the cool, quiet waters behind a waterfall.
They do not try to bypass those who need their sympathy or very real financial help, even if this somehow changes their plans.
They are unpredictably changeable and sometimes they try to implement several plans at once, unable to concentrate on one thing, sometimes they wait, missing out on wonderful opportunities,
and this simply drives Sagittarius crazy.
But there is no need to lure Pisces out of the dam where they decided to take a break: they need peace and security as much as Sagittarius needs freedom.
All that both need is to try to understand each other.
Pisces are ready.
And Sagittarius?
