The Relationship of Two Tauruses

Somehow, an astrological rumor has arisen that Tauruses are prone to obesity. This is false. Some of them are indeed overweight, but most are not.

They love to cook and eat, but they usually have a beautiful physique, and the excess calories turn into solid muscles. As for Taurus women, good food only makes them sensually graceful. Isn't Taurus movie star Audrey Hepburn like that?

Another misconception about these people is that they are lazy. Tauruses are not lazy. They just believe that wasting energy is a sin. People of this sign have so much power that they hoard it, like they hoard money. If you put two Tauruses together, it will be difficult to get them to do anything immediately (unless you make them angry, but more on that later). It is twice as difficult to move two Bulls as it is to move one. When they first meet, they will approach each other more or less calmly. No Bull will jump too eagerly and impulsively into the arms of another Bull (or any other astrological animal) until all the various possibilities have been carefully weighed and seriously considered.

This brings us to the third unfair and false astrological rumor - that Tauruses are stubborn. They are not stubborn. They are only firm and constant in their convictions. Bulls seldom change their minds, and even more rarely lose their heads. A union of two Bulls, bearing the double burden of the influence of the Sun signs, can be stable and mutually comfortable. These people usually belong to the affectionate, calm "teddy bear" type. They respect the rights of others, they are loyal and tactful. However, life can become a little stagnant and uneventful for them if the birth chart of at least one of them does not contain planets in the Air or Fire signs. Taurus are suspicious of change because they are conservative, and this is not a false rumor. They feel that, on the whole, everything has been fine for hundreds of years, so why change the rules and foundations of life? For the average Taurus (although there are always rare exceptions that only confirm the rule), any radical intervention in unchangeable habits (Taurus is a Fixed sign) is unwise. Taurus feels that if change is necessary, the only reasonable (here's that word again!) way to achieve it is to change the system. In fact, we should be grateful to these essentially kind, trustworthy souls, so devoted to the power of calm reason. But a pair of Bulls can also freeze in the form of denial with a touch of fanaticism.

The most potentially harmful aspect of this union is the aversion of both Bulls to repentance. Even if Taurus is inwardly convinced that he was wrong, he will stubbornly stand on what was foolishly said or done, because to correct a mistake is too close to weakness, and the very word "weakness" makes Bulls blush. But if the shame of being wrong is conveniently disguised in humor, it is always easier to retreat.

If the Bull finally understands that patience is a virtue, but that, turned inside out, it turns into ordinary stubbornness, it is easier for him to forgive the other for the charms of that "virtue". Two Bulls can work or play together, and do it well. They will be mutually obedient, reliable and gently accommodating - if one of them does not push the other too persistently or too hard. Not all Taurus have a terrific sense of humor, but if they can learn to laugh at themselves, all their problems will be solved. Humor is one of the greatest qualities a person can possess. Mixed in large quantities with the wonderful reliability of Taurus, it can help make these sweet and pleasant men and women even more reasonable.
