Pisces Woman - Pisces Man

Any Pisces girl has many wonderful qualities, traits and talents, so it is not surprising why a Pisces man in love with a Neptunian woman feels that he has finally found himself in the cool, clear waters of the love he has always dreamed of.

She lived in his subconscious, and as soon as he saw this wonderful girl, he realized that she was exactly what he was striving for.

The Pisces girl is also full of vague memories of sadness and joy, of waiting for a miracle.

And as soon as she saw the shining eyes of this man, she immediately recognized him.

It would be delightful if we could put a period right here, after the familiar fairy tale ending of "and they lived happily ever after."

But we can't.

We must first go through the Black Forest and fight all the dragons, witches, ugly toads, and Terrible Things that come out to meet us or hide in the lagoons, waiting to seize our Pisces lovers, separate them, and throw them into the terrible well of loneliness.

I hate to switch from poetry to prose, but we must move on to the more ordinary problems of Neptunian compatibility.

Two people ruled by the same planet (in this case, of course, Neptune) must experience an increase and intensification of both the positive and negative sides of each person's personality.

In the case of a Pisces-Pisces couple, the common positive qualities that easily double are: gentleness, sensitivity, imagination, creative spirit, sympathy and sensitivity, originality and wit plus common sense.

The negative qualities of Pisces, with which they will have to desperately fight so that they do not ruin their love, are too much dreaminess, idleness, laziness, confusion, sloppiness and chaos, slowness, fears, phobias and various forms of neuroses, the temptation to sometimes lie (and a strange habit of occasionally pretending to be a doormat for each other to wipe their feet on).

Pisces' personal anxiety also doubles (even quadruples, considering that they have four Pisces between them) when these lovers enter into any kind of emotional relationship. If one of them has a strong Moon sign or Ascendant in the Earth element, he or she can become a reliable anchor of stability for the other.

(A Water Moon sign or Ascendant is good for harmony, too, but we are talking about protective stability.) Without such support, these two can run into danger, or entangle each other with fantasies and fears, or float indifferently through a love or marriage that is too fragile to last.

There are Pisces who are afraid of their own shadow.

There are others (called Whales) who fear neither man nor beast—at least they claim not to.

It is always good to remember that Pisces do not always say what they think.

Some Pisces are more afraid of themselves than of external circumstances or people, never trying to get ahead, and missing out on everything they really want to do. And then there are the playful, insightful and brilliantly intelligent Dolphins.

The especially sympathetic nature of Pisces can lead to them being oversensitive to sensory impressions, which can sometimes be misleading. If one of them has more planets in Earth signs in their horoscope than the other, the more "earthy" Pisces will accuse the less practical one of refusing to face the facts, of looking at the world through rose-colored glasses and therefore being full of illusions. This, in fact, is the root of all Neptunian fears and phobias - in the memory of how the golden eagle too often turned into a gray fog. Yet one of this pair can cling to his illusions, knowing that they are more real than what seems true, and surprisingly often proving this only by the persistence of his faith.

When this happens, it is called a miracle. It is no coincidence that so many saints were born under the sign of Pisces.

Perhaps he or she is a Fish, swimming in the wrong direction, who acts as if life itself is a dream. Or one of them may be a Whale Fish, who laughs at secrets, ignores spiritual truth, a loud, talkative, rude, and aggressive Whale.

Or even a Shark.

Aggressive or bitter Pisces are those who have seen too much ugliness in this life and hide their broken hearts behind promiscuity and sharp talk. In this case, the stronger Fish needs to treat the other with more compassion.

It takes endless patience to save a Pisces who is struggling in the dark waters of disappointment and swimming against the current, against the natural movement of the Piscean experience.

A Pisces woman can easily catch a Pisces man in a net of love and keep him in it.

She will intuitively feel that he does not like it when they try to penetrate his thoughts.

A partner who strives to command would never be able to keep this man, and a typical Pisces girl is submissive, intelligent, even wise, but still vulnerable enough to appeal to his sense of masculine patronage, which is so necessary to maintain in him. Conversely, she needs a partner who is gentle enough to handle her hypersensitive soul with care and caution, and no one can do this better than a man of her own sign.

Their physical intimacy will rarely be immoderately passionate and demanding, but, after all, not everyone needs thrills every night.

This does not mean that they will be cold and indifferent. In fact, sexual experiences between two Pisces can be very deep.

They can save themselves with their love from the gloomy, dull, everyday monotony of the material world, as a natural fish strives from stagnant pools and bays into a cool, green ocean, sparkling in the sun, caressing the shore with a soft splash of waves in the moonlight.

Sex between these two people can be just that pure, fresh, free, full of the mystical poetry of romantic love.

The medieval knights and their beautiful ladies must have known this.

If a Pisces woman notices that a Pisces man is somehow dissatisfied with his work, depressed at home and seems more and more secretive, distant and indifferent, she should try to listen more carefully to his silence, and then she will be able to help him. Pisces are rarely inclined to introspection, despite their intuitive sense about the feelings of others.

He was born under the rule of Neptune and instinctively understands that man is a spirit, he has a soul.

And this is exactly what he wants to get back - his soul?

The Pisces man is at heart a sublime beggar, a blissful one, who dreams of following the ringing song of the skylark, wherever it may lead him. But the modern materialistic world does not allow him to admit his secret desires, nor to express them.

If he does not find a way to actively pursue his real goal, he may drown in despair, sometimes, unfortunately, trying to quench his sorrows with aimless wandering, alcohol or drugs.

He needs a woman who will understand this, who will not bind him with the chains of her fear or condemn him for the passion of his soul.

As for the Pisces girl, her mood swings and occasional tears, long silences almost always mean that she, too, wants to leave the cramped aquarium and swim out into wide spaces of wonder and adventure. No matter how patient she is, she gets tired of just reading about the adventures of other people who dare to throw off responsibility and chase otherworldly winds.

All she needs is a light touch on her hand, some sign, an answering light in the eyes of her Pisces husband or lover, saying that he knows how much and how passionately she wants to trade security for freedom. Then they can go away together, regardless of whether it is time to take a vacation.

The Neptunian insistent alarm clock rings and tells them both that it is time to follow their dreams.

Now or never.

That's when they need to urgently run and buy tickets to Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Switzerland or Tibet.

Money?

Only for the trip. Providence will mysteriously and mystically provide them with food and shelter.

The Neptune-driven man and woman know this better than anyone, but they are inclined to forget it from time to time when they allow worries about tomorrow to take over and suppress them.

When they allow themselves to live and love freely, they can turn into Dolphins, wisely and joyfully frolicking together in peace, harmony and contentment, and warning each other in time of danger. But if they can't get out of their rut and let all their golden hopes fly by, after a while they will start deceiving each other, avoiding emotional confrontation, withdrawing further and further into themselves.

You know what it's called? It's laziness.

And that's a very unhappy ending for a magical story.
