The Scorpio-Aquarius Relationship

Yes, it's wild.

Both.

So first of all, know that I'm not going to take sides with either of the participants in this "square" vibration of Sun signs.

One might wonder how these two ever managed to meet in the first place, and one might also wonder if it's wise for either of them to meet a second time.

The square between their Sun signs certainly creates some tension, but in astrology, tension is synonymous with energy.

The question is: what are Eagle and Aquarius going to do with this huge flow of tension (I mean energy) between them?

Are they going to channel it into senseless conflict or turn it into that powerful force that makes windmills work, sailboats sail, trains walk, birds fly, and spaceships overcome the time barrier?

Just because someone looks at life through one end of a telescope and you stare through the other, it does not stop making noise and quarrelling.

If you both looked through the same telescope, you would see that you were staring at each other.

Of course, one pair of eyes would appear smaller and the other larger, because that is how telescopes are designed, but you are not a telescope.

You are an Aquarius, who should not accept such a distorted view of all Scorpios - as nosy, conservative, ruthless, biting bastards.

And you are an Eagle, and should stop thinking of all Aquarians as people who should be put in a monkey house, unless the monkeys object.

Such energy will not move the wings of a mill even half a turn, will not take a train out of a station, and will not lift a bird from a tree branch, no matter how much it flaps its wings.

Those of you who have seen the movie Close Encounters of the Third Kind will remember the awe, suspicion, and caution with which the scientists and ordinary people of Earth looked upon those who (what?) had emerged from the Great Mother Ship.

They seemed to them strange balls of jelly (perhaps harmless enough, but you couldn't be sure), strangely shaped, mysterious creatures with any possible ugly philosophy.

That is how the typical Scorpio looks at the typical Aquarius, whether he had emerged from the Great Mother Ship, from the apartment across the street, from Woolworth's, the neighborhood barn, the ski lift, or the rector's office.

Aquarius takes a similar experimental view of Scorpio.

However, the fact is that, although both Scorpio and Aquarius would like to know as much as possible about each other, neither wants to reveal their own secrets.

All specific combinations are different, but usually Scorpio has a slight advantage over Aquarius when it comes to finding out other people's secrets, but at the same time he does not reveal his own.

But neither Scorpio nor Aquarius would want it any other way.
