The goal of the game is to help the frog cross the game screen from the bottom to the top.
The game "Frog" ("Frogger") is a well-known arcade puzzle game.
The game field is divided into several rows: the first row is the starting line, then a road along which cars drive in both directions at different speeds, then a safe area for a break, then a river with crocodiles swimming from left to right and groups of turtles from right to left. In the last row, there are five cells.
In our simple version of the game, 5 frogs participate. The frog must overcome the road, cross the river along the crocodiles and turtles and occupy one of the 5 stones. The frog dies when colliding with a car, when falling into the water, when jumping past the finish cell or if it swims off the screen. Each frog is given 5 lives. The game ends when all the frogs (the ones that are still alive) sit on the rocks or when all the frogs die. Victory is counted when all 5 frogs sit on the rocks.
The player has direct control over the frog, moving it around the playing field using four keys (forward-backward, left-right).
