It is located on both sides of the Aleuur River at its confluence with the Quang River. In 1908, on the other bank of the Aleur River, the Pashennyi railway was built on the Amur Railway. During the construction of the railway, a camp of builders appeared near the crossing, later becoming Chernyshevo settlement.
