Uglich - a city in the Russian Federation, the regional center of Yaroslavl region, located on the Volga River (Uglich Reservoir). Is part of the Golden Ring Roscii. Uglich was founded in 937 by the Grand Duke of Kiev envoy Jan Pleskovich. The oldest building Uglich Kremlin - House of feudal princes, preserved from the vast palace complex, erected by the Grand Prince Andrew in the 1480s.
