It is located on the shore of Lake Akkol. A group of immigrants from Central Russia arrived to the shores of Lake Akkul in 1881. There were few settlers, only 25 families: Merkulovs, Grandmothers, Kirpichnikovs, Elkinas, Antonovs, Ponomarevs, Kopylovskys, Rybnikovs, Morozovs, Pavlovs, Garyutkins, Veshkurtsevs, Molchanovs and others.
