The territory of Canakkale, like Istanbul, is located in two parts of the world - Europe and Asia.
From the west and south, the territory of the silt is washed by the waters of the Aegean Sea, it includes the islands of Gokceada (the largest island in Turkey) and Bozcaada. From the north, the territory of the silt is washed by the waters of the Sea of Marmara.
